Quad vortex racer and dx8 (possible or not )

I can't get the motors to spin up with my dx8 but works just fine with my dx6i. Anything I might need to know about the 8 that might be tricky. Just got it ( used but good ) and not used to it yet. Also just wanted to add that this little machine is very and I mean very stout. The collapsible arms are the bestest!! Tested them thoroughly.

Have you re-initialized the ESC with the DX8?

Have you tried lowering the throttle trim, just in case it don't see the throttle low enough to arm.
Just a thought...
