Unintentional Inverted auto.

Took the Warp out for a spin.
Was flying the crap out of it. High speed Piroflips low to the deck.
All of a sudden, a very nasty noise and the tail let go :eek1:
I was half way through a piro flip, so was too low to flip back over.
Cut the throttle and hovered it inverted as long as I could, until the headspeed was too low to stay in the air.
Plopped to the ground with no damage :)

The cause of the tail malfunction....... A disintegrated tail bearing. :(

I tell you, this Warp 360 is bulletproof (except the tail; bearings LOL )
I would rather land it on the head, than the skids :D LOL

Well done Lee, seems necessity came up with a new maneuver, we should call the the "inverted Lee" LOL

Wow, Lee, sounds like an awesome landing... See you should be videoing this stuff man....lol, those blade grip bolts look awfully rusty... Oh is it me.??

You've got to be one hell of a pilot to do that man... Bet you were cool as a cucumber too, I'd of been crapping myself and probably ran away....haha

Did you back out those bolts on the left tail side plate or did they sheer?

Not sure if the bolts came out then the bearing broke, or the bearing broke, and the bolts came out :D LOL
Amazing thing is, the tail shaft is still straight  Screws are not stripped.
Only need a couple of new bearings for $11 :D
