my wife surprised me tonight , she went ahead and give me my early birthday present.
Traxxas TRX 4 Land Rover recover 4x4 has front and rear diff lock 2 speed hi lo from TX has 5 modes normal brake, hard crawl brake and race mode and a training mode all controlled at esc Very nice rig.

Traxxas has come a long ways , This one is fast and will crawl good to.. Turning radius is spot on when diffs are unlocked . I really like my Axial Jeep to

But when they are locked, the thing pushes like a bulldozer lol.

Yes sir my Axial rubicon scx10 is always locked solid it pushes this trx 4 will turn within the rubicon. This setup Has 2 servos with cables to actuate the diff lock cool stuff

My Spyder came with solid diff, but I fitted free diff and found that I lost too much traction on sand, so I tried the solid diff in back then front, and found the best all round performance with a free diff on the back and a fixed diff on rear. Also, I lowered the suspension to give better performance on sand without loosing too much on rocks.
