500 Trex 500x problem

I have a new trex 500x that I bought and put together. I need help with set up of the microbeast plus. I have an sbus receiver and have bound it with the controller but when I plug in the battery the microbeast does this night rider thing and has a solid red light and constantly beeps at me. The motor moves with every beep. Had a 450 before this and wanted to upgrade but getting frustrated. Can someone please shed some light on this for me.

Sounds like you need to set the receiver type.

Its an sbus transmitter and I have it bound.

Goosedaddy they said to check the microbeast receiver type in it's settings... that is a different thing than binding a transmitter and receiver. That way it will know if it is suppose to listen to the DSM2/DSMX or the S-BUS connection.

What do I need to connect to the microbeast and check that, I am really new at building, I got spoiled with my 450 RTF.

You are essentially telling the BeastX what type of receiver you are using. Like standard, Sbus, PPM, SRXL ect. A bit much to explain on the forum. Try this link too.
