450 TREX 450 Gear grease

Do you guys use grease on the main gear, auto-rotation gear, etc... If so, any recommendations? I have heard you can pick up gear grease for plastic parts at the local auto shop.

I personally don't. But may be silicone grease would be good. May Be someone else can confirm that here

Not on the main or auto gears. They don't need it. It will just encourage dirt and dust.

Dont know where i saw or read it, but i remember someone saying to lightly lube the gears. I used a light spray of GT85 on mine??

Not that I have ever heard. Your just asking for trouble later on with contamination.

Nope, you should not run any grease on any of the exposed gears. As stated, it will just attract dust and wear the gears out faster.

I only heard of one person cutting the main gear with grease.
