Quad Tight Props

Just got some new Dal6045 and 5045 props. Much stiffer than the cheapies I had.

The 6045 are very tight going on the motors. to the point I would really need to force them on. Do not want to damage the motor.

Any suggestions on opening that hole up. Drill it bigger? Or try to Sandpaper it a little?

Hate to screw them up. I did buy 5 full sets and all the 6045 are tight. The 5045 are just fine...

Your thoughts?

How tight is tight?
Mine are tight. I just screw them on enough to get the nut on, then tighten the nut down, which normally strips out the thread in the plastic prop.
Then they are good to go.

I find a wood drill does the best because the cutting edges are flat rather than tapered, I have a 450 quad where the motor have a small shoulder and the props don't sit down far enough, unless drilled out.
The wood drill creates a flat surface to sit on the shoulder keeping them square and the point on the drill stops me drilling all the way threw the prop, as I drill on a metal bench, that drill bit has no other purpose in life.
