Looks nice but I'm not so sure about a 325mm 450 priced about $60 higher than a Goblin 380? It will be interesting to see if the price gets cut after the initial excitement dies down like SAB did with the 380.

looks great but at A$520 for the kit in Australia is a bit above my pay grade.

Maybe when the when the used one start appearing on the market.

Ya the price is a pit High. and should come down. Glad Im a field rep
The price on the Oxy 2 and 3 dropped after they were out .
the Oxy 2 came down pretty quick .
I hope it will compete with my JR Forza 450 . That was the best flying 450 I had ever had . Hated to sell it but with no parts kinda hard to keep it .

I cant really blame Oxy for going in with a high price. Seems like there are a bunch of hardcore Oxy faithful who would pay pretty much anything to get the latest Oxy heli first. If they are happy to pay a bit more that's fine, it helps Oxy recover some of their development costs quickly. As you say, hopefully once that initial euphoria has died down the price will come down to something that's competitive against other helis in the class and it would then be more attractive to the non-partisan buyer.

Well the Quality of the Oxy Brand is what is over looked by Most . And to them thats what makes the price seem high
Just about every heli out there Lynx has made some kind of upgrade part for it . So they take that and apply it to the Oxy Brand

That's a fair point well made.

However If I were ever to go for an Oxy 4 I'd be shopping for 'upgrades' right away. I really dont like DFC so i'd want the aftermarket standard FBL head, plus the 360 stretch kit. With blades that's probably a $460 heli right there.. that really does stack it up against some serious competition. It would be nice if these 'upgrades' were available as options on the kit, so you didn't have to pay for stuff you dont want.

Another heli I really like the look of in this class is the new Mini Protos 380 Evo. At 380mm blades its quite a bit bigger than the Oxy but once you factor in the included Brain2 it's still cheaper.. This is a very comparative class to be in for sure. I wish Oxy luck with the new heli.

Prices will most likely be 30% higher over this side of the pond, tax adds %20 on it's own but that's the same for any product.

They spent a lot of time on how the DFC head works on the Oxy. They say it keeps the 90 degrees through all its motion . But I dont Know I have never had any problems with any of the DFC heads that been on any of my Helis .
Most likely the Kit will be sold as 360 kit . They did that with the oxy3 .
The thing I hate is the blades that come with them.
