General The Joys of Belly Landing

Since acquiring my Hobbyking Bixler 2 a few months back I have enjoyed being able to fly the farmers fields surrounding my house.
This is due to the Bix having no gear and being hand launched and belly landed.
My wife generously bought me a Parkzone T28 last Christmas which I had until last week only flown twice.
Well last week I decided to,remove the gear. I reinforced the belly with duct tape and made some covers for the servos.
Since then I have flown several times a day in a 40 acre field at the back of my house. I even take a cup of tea from home with me.
The plane flies beautifully without gear and looks awesome as it turns in and swoops along the flight line.
And as for landings, well in more than twenty flights there is not even a scratch on the tape.

There is no shame in "belly landing" a plane, lol. As long as you are having fun with it, you are doing something right.....and that's what matters!

Well done!!

I have belly landed planes that were not supposed to be belly landed lmao. What sucks is, it was a perfect landing too...
