General Tail Boom

Since the tail boom on my Honeybee King has gotten a few dings I'm considering ordering a spare to have on hand. I'd like to get a few opinions as to whether to go with the original aluminum or go for the graphite.
The aluminum I can staighten if slightly bent but is the graphite durable enough that it won't just shatter?

By the time I'm done with this HBK I'll probably have a Blade clone.;)

The carbon boom will shatter if/when hit. Whereas the aluminum will just bend and as you stated you can bend it back. I would opt for the aluminum if you are still having boom strikes, but carbon if you are proficient at flying.
