    Hi Tony you were right about the diffs my t-maxx 2.5 i have breaks now but there were no sheared gears or ware on the old diffs .alot of grease caked on it all of diff old gears but i put new ones in and put a bit of grease on them. I kind of cheated but thats okay lol .

    Looks like there may be an issue with shims. Maybe gear mesh is incorrect? I couldn't tell but it sounded like some binding in the gear teeth. There close to the end it looked like there is one area with a problem. I'd take it back apart and double check the shims are in the correct place. Here is the exploded view.
