General Swashplate Link Ball And Turnbuckles

I am trying to find some turnbuckles that are better than the wire and plastic links I have. But I've run into a bit of a problem, I don't know what a ball size is when they refer to it as M1.8, M2, M3. The ball sized I hveare 4.7mm and 3.97mm. What size would those be?

The M1.8, M2, M3 refers to the thread size and not the actual ball size. If this is a 450 size helicopter, you are going to be hard pressed to find links for it that are better than stock. Larger helicopters you can get true turnbuckles. So what size helicopter are you working on? Brand and so on?
