Spektrum swapping DX6i to DX8 on a Beast X controlled heli

Ok, What do I need to do here? My 500 W/Beastx is bound to my DX6i, I want to bind it to my DX8.
Do I have to go through setup again on Beastx?
Or do I just copy settings to my DX8 from the DX6i, and bind it?

When I swap'd my DX6i for my DX9.. I re-did EVERYTHING! IMO it's the best way.. Some setting u will now have, u didn't before... 2 position switches on the DX6i are 3 position on the DX8.. Travels may need to be reversed... I think starting a new model and plugging the figures in manually is the way to go.. Some may disagree. I'm not even sure u can export of the DX6i?

Yeah was kinda what I was thinking....bummer because it's a sweet flyin heli right now, I hate taking a perfectly good flying heli and messin with it. But at least I know the head is set up right so shouldn't have to do anything but go through the program and just re check it.
Probably should find some video of DX8 setup with Beastx too.
Gotta do my Kbar also on my 450.

Any time you are changing Tx's, you always want to redo the setup. IT's a small price to pay for a much better Tx. And you are going to love that DX8!
