Ok I have the ar7200bx and a satellite receiver was thinking of placing the satellite receiver on the left front of my 550 heli under the canopy it will be just in front of the motor and under the battery with the left antenna out in the air will that be ok...

You want the sat to be as far away from electrical interference as possible.
So close to the motor, is not a good idea.
Anywhere that doesn't block the antennas line of sight to you, especially through carbon.
I tend to have mine under the tail boom, as you spend a lot of time tail in, so there is clear air between the Sat and your radio.
