Question, I am trying to set up a quad using a Spectrum serial receiver and an Omnibus F4 V3 controller board. Is it the same as setting up the DX9 in Beta flight? Am new at this so its all confusing to me. Not sure where to start am getting no response from my receiver or motors and am using OPTO ESCs does that make a difference as long as I am powering up the controller with the Vbat ?

Yes, the setup would be the same as doing it with the DX9, you just have to pay attention to the channels. There is no Aux 2,3 or 4 so keep that in mind.
