General Simple question on maingear!

On most RC helis the tail is driven off a seperate gear/pulley, so changing the main gear has no effect on tail gear ratio.
Thanks so i can use it without issues, i guess?
One more question , is a 90 amp esc overkill for a 470 heli ? it has a 60 amp that need to be changed and i have that brand new talon 90 lying around...

I can't tell you if the 151t would fit or not as there are many variables in gear design. All I can tell you is that on most helis the tail ratio wont be effected.

Yes, 90A is massive overkill on a 470 and will add quite a bit of weight.

Ok fine, the maingear fits like a glove and for the esc the heli is not for 3D, it a semi- scale heli so still a no go?

providing it fits and the pinion meshes properly then all should be good. 1 tooth out of 150 wont make any noticeable difference to the gear ratio.
