RC Suppliers

Hey All,
I kind of posted something along the same lines about batteries but
I would like everyone to give me an idea as to where you purchase
your RC supplies from state side.
If you typically order from over seas I suppose that's fine too.
Now then I am more into Quads than anything else but the more the merrier.
I know there are tons of places but just taking a stab at seeing your favorite places.
I recently have had a good experience with one supplier up until last week.
There was a mix up and now it seems they have gone silent on me.
I am just hoping they are at a show and cannot reply or correct the
problem until they return.

To add: I am really interested in finding a place for small parts like screws, nuts, Nylon and aluminum standoffs as well.

For quads, I have only used ebay. Looking forward to seeing what everyone uses. What supplier is giving you a cold shoulder?

Well right now I do not want to say until I am sure this is just not a case of "we are at a show" or "my dog died" kind of thing.
They have been great up until recently. Early last week I received someone elses order in my package.
I emailed them twice and by Friday I got a reply saying Sorry we will take care of it when we get back in office.
Now maybe I am just impatient but I need my props LOL.
Anyway not to head this in another direction :)

Well yet again I have tried to reach out to the supplier on my order....nothing.
A part of me is saying give it some more time and the other part of me is
telling me to start a refund case with PayPal.
:goodevil:
In the same breath I reached out to this guy who's order I received and his
wife replied stating "I will tell him"....and...nothing?
I mean what is it with people, they spend money and do not seem to care
if they loose it...
I am sure he received my props and by the looks of the things he ordered
he could very well use my props...
I mean to me 15 bucks is 2 days of eating lunch so I sacrifice to order props
instead of eating and the end result is I am hungry and I cannot fly...:mad-new:

It just kind of bums me out because I had a good re-pore with these guys.
They had decent prices and good delivery times...I suppose the shipping
department just needs to get glasses....

OK I'm done...stepping down now

Oh I typically do but I just cannot believe after all of the business I have given them
they just cross their arms on this.
I just have this feeling there is something wrong there.
The place is ran by one guy and maybe he may have help as well but for them
to just go silent is a bit out of character for him.
He has had great reviews on several RC forums so I am going to give him until
Monday and then I suppose I will have to go for the throat.
I am going to keep the other guys package hostage until this is over.
I mean why should I go out of the way when no one else is....
Been down that road, turned out to be a bit bumpy

Before you blame the seller (provided items are shipped already) the USPS folks have been slacking lately. I have had 2 packages get delayed and these were big purchases, big in cost and in need. My China orders have been showing up rather quickly as of late.

If he's just not sending it out then yeah fund a new retailer. I have only used 1 or 2 eBay shops, one being garrt-rc. I have not had any issues with him but then again I only have 2 orders with him

Sent from my LG-E980 using Forum Runner

Well my addressed package made it but the other guy is not returning my call.
I got my shipment but wrong items in the package.

I found Ready Made RC which is less than 50 miles away from me.
I will be using them more often.

Well I sent them a RMA request to return the stuff that is not mine.
I will contact PayPal and file a dispute to get my money back.
Sad....
They are alive...they are updating their Facebook page with all of their new products.... :/
I pretty much told them they have until tomorrow morning to give me some
positive feedback and then I will submit the issue to PayPal.
OH Well you live and you learn.

This Guy is top notch! Have dealt with him a few times.....one night I emailed him at 1:30AM in the morning, and wasn't expecting a reply until the next day....he emailed me right back!!!
He has always been quick on shipping and very helpful, even directed me to another store when he couldn't help me.
Try him....

As for the post office!!!!!!!!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here in the last 3 months they have gotten horrible!!!!! I have watched packages sit for 3 days at the Fort Worth PO.
once a package went from Plano TX (about 20-30 miles away Maybe) to Jacksonville Fla! It sat there for 3 weeks while the guy that I bought the stuff from emailed me every day that he had hounded the PO about the package.
It was finally shipped and sat in Fort Worth PO for 2 more days, then sat a day in the Arlington PO...finally arriving at my house!

Well wanted to touch back on this.
Seems as if all of my emails went into his spam folder.
Being in IT I do not doubt that.
He actually called me personally and apologized for everything.
I agreed to send the other guys stuff back and they reimbursed me for the shipping
the very same day.
Within an hour afterwards I got notified my shipment was on the way.
I'm glad this got worked out because they offer a lot of things thats hard to find.
However I am still hunting down hardware for my new build.
Stand Offs and M3 screws.
I found what I need at GoodLuckBuy but it is overseas and they charge for it too....
I have plenty of time but if anyone has a good resource for M3 stand offs and screws
let me know.

Well over the period of the last week I have accumulated a small
list of US based RC suppliers that seem to offer relatively good prices
and have some hard to find items between them all.
Enjoy....
