Setups QAV500 with DIY gimble

Been playing with a Gimble from Infinity Hobby

I have retro fitted in to the front of my QAV500. Had to remove a section of the original camera plate to allow for the gimble arm to move freely.

It is using the Martinez Gimble board, but i have just flashed my KK2 to 1.6++FW yesterday. It now has the ability to control the gimble. So i may take out the Martinez board and use it for another Gimble.

Here is the set up.

Maiden test flight.
Sorry its dark, couldn't wait till tomorrow.

Starting to look into FPV. Where are the best sites to look at ££££ to save ? I have seen the QAV500 from £300 to £130??

Thanks guys,
@ Graham
There are a number of good sites. GetFPV and ReadyMade RC in the states. But the problem for us is Tax from the US.
Good sites in Asia are, Foxtechfpv, BevRC, for FPV gear and Infinity Hobby and RCTimer for platforms.
Have a look around these Graham, and let me know if you have any questions.

Looks great Lee! I didn't think it would turn out that good. I maybe getting the 540 this spring. Got to see how my cash flow is after I finish upgrading my Mustang! LOL

Thanks Sam.
I may cut out some 540 arms on my friends CNC machine this summer to try some bigger props.
