Pyrotechnique fun today

The weather has closed in over the last few days, so i decided to put my batteries in storage charge.
Discovered one of my old 4S 5000mah batteries for my quad had some corrosion on the end of two cells and was puffing.
So what to do???
Cut the terminals off and short the wires together.
Big puff of magic smoke and flames. Then stabbed it with a screw driver, more flames
Once it settled i plopped it in a bucket of salty water

Warning this is not the safe way to dispose of a battery

But it was fun

I've done something similar to this with a 3S 2200 lipo just a few weeks ago. It was impressive, so I can only imaging what your battery looked like, Lee.

have you seen the video on youtube where a guy takes a lipo and tosses it into a deep fryer? Mega explosive!!!

I just realised why the quad dropped out of the sky now. It wasn't the RAF helicopter jamming my signal, it was the lipo dying LOL
There goes the conspiracy theory.
