Here a few pics of the protos. Still no canopy as of yet.

The blades are wide cord. I was shocked when I saw them. Make the revolutions look small.

All I have left at this point is blade pitch and cyclic pitch. Almost there.

I hear that, we just had a monster storm front pass through central teaxs the brough a cool front, rain and hail. Today is over cast with chances of rain and I am flying in betweeen showers. I now have 3 almost dead batteries charging now. I am hoping my lack of power was due to my Normal throttle curve being at 60%. I just upped it to 75% to see if I get more punch. I also raised the expo from 20% to 25% and my TC to 75%. I think my gains can go higher but I wont go down that path yet. It flies [what seems] to be rock solid just for hovering. I have the pre-set for soft 3d active and feels way different than flybared. I have to learn the sticks all over again.

75% should give you some punch. What is your Pitch set at? You went up on your EXPO, thats cool. I fly all my Nitro birds at 10% expo. The Beast X for my Protos has some crazy Piros. I pretty much had to lower travel on rudder to tame it down a little and 20% expo.

Expo now at 25% for elevator and airlron, this actually worked better on this last test. Normally 75% does give some punch but these batteries are 1.5 years old and showing their age. I have not done any pyros yet so I cant say how good or bad it is. I really need to get into the fine tuning of the gyro at this point. I will have the blue tooth adapter here before to long so doing the adjustments will be easy.

I still have a clockwise tail drift that needs to be fixed. I think I can slide the servo on the tail boom just a bit to help counter the torque better. Once that is done then I need to take care of the swash, I am still having drifting that I continue to have to fight. I know I can fix it I just have to figure how I am going to do it.
