my charger I just got a month ago is acting up or maybe not. Every time I charger a battery, the charger has a red light to indicate that it is charging but then after a little while it starts to flash green. The manual says that the flashing green light indicates: Peak Detection Active. What does that mean?

What kind of batteries are you using? Peak detection is only used for Nicd and NiMh batteries. You can not use it for Lipo's, or you will over charge them and that is very dangerous.

What peak detection is, is when the two batteries that I listed reach a full charge, even though the charger is pushing power into them, the voltage will start to drop. Peak detection watches the drop, and when it drops so much, it will kick off the charger. Hope this helps.

I'm charging it right now and I will see if it does it again. Also made sure i'm not on the lipo charge mode. Hopefully it will charge. thanks tony
