| I am starting out with a X525 4 axis Quad Copter. I chose a Walkera White Devo 10 Channel transmitter and RX1002 receiver. I need to know if I need a gyro? I also want to know if i can put a GPS and have it return home? | |
Quad Please help! Im just getting into Quad copters.

First off is this quad a walkera product? If not then yes you would need an RX for it.
As for GPS and the other bells and whistles just hold off till your experience builds up. Learn how to fly first then go and add the other stuff.
Adding gos to that quad, I can't say for sure since I don't know it. Chances are no. You could possibly be able to change out the fc and add one in that can support it.

If you just bought the X525 4 axis Quad Copter as a frame with no electronics, then you need to do a lot of research on how a quadcopter works.
Do you have any other experience with multirotors or and RC aircraft.
Spend a bit of time looking through the multirotor forum on here.
This post should be in there as well, not in Simulators where you put it.
I will move it for you.
Ask lots of questions in there, and you will learn a lot.
