On my KK2 I was able to plug it directly into ch 7 or 8.

This is what the pixhawk instructions say

Connecting the Servos to a Pixhawk

Connect the gimbal to Pixhawk’s auxiliary output pins. Connect tilt (pitch) to aux out signal (s) pin 1, roll to aux out signal (s) pin 2, and ground to an aux out ground (-) pin.

This is how I think I have figured this connection out as of right now.
1. Make a "y" splitter from BEC one lead to the servo (Negative and Signal) for Pixhawk control
2. The other lead from the BEC to the servo (Positive & Negative) wire to power the servo

I have now done a bind on my X8R rx in D16 mode to get 16 channels (8 PWM from sbus) and (8 std. channesl from the rx outputs). So now I just run my single axis servo gimbal from the rx. I'm going to try this gimbal and if don't work I"ll try another type.
