Trucks Pivot Ball Cap Adjustment

What is the proper adjustment for the pivot ball caps? These are the caps that cover the pivot balls which screw into the A arms. You can see them through the wheel spokes.

Take the shocks and wheels off and tighten the cups until the arm will not drop under its own weight, then back it off just until it does drop. Then repeat 7 more times. Have fun with those shocks lmao.
