One 600 heli is my prized possession.. I have rjx with beastx on it..
Another 600 is my first and tester heli, lol it has a converted head and tarot zyx

Pimped My Helicopters.... All but the Trex are now FBL/mostly beastx, with a tarot, a black widow, and a ebar thrown in. The only one left to pimp would be my actual Trex 600

So today I started on the 600.
Stripped down the Black widow head, no loctite the way i like it, and put it all back together.
Once on the heli I noticed that the swash balls where too small for the control arms. Seems that the linkages are for the 700 not the 600. Now RC Aerodyne provide the 700 balls with the head to replace if using on a 600, but not with my kit so now i have to wait for the balls to arrive. i was hoping to fly this tomorrow, but now its gonna be at least a week or so before i can get her in the air

She flys and she fly great. Take my advice. The AR7200 BX is amazing. Out of the box with basic set up that took me a few minutes and my heli was as stable as anything i've ever flew.
This was suppose to be a gentle hovering maiden, but got a bit excited.

So i've gone and done it again. I've been wanting to upgrade the power on my Chaos 600. Yesterday after speaking to the nice guys at RC Aerodyne, i bought a Scorpion 740KV motor and a Phoenix Ice 100A esc. Its going to be running on 8S as i have the 4S batteries from my QAV500 i can use. A lot of people were suggesting 12S, but that would mean buying new batteries as well. And when i go 12S, it will be on a 700 that i hope one day soon to have.
So should have it next week sometime if Mr postman/customs are nice. Stay tuned.

Why would you need new batteries? Just use two of your 3000mah 6s batteries in series.

The new batteries are for the 700 when he gets it.

Right, but both his 500 and 600 use a 6s setup. He has 6 of those batteries. If you wire them in series, you would have a 12s setup with no additional cost.

Those batteries are almost dead now, one is dead. More puffed than a puffed thing. And at only 3000mah it would be a very short flight. The 500 is getting closer to being put on Ebay or here if someone wants it. So i'll just have the 600 and the quad running the same batteries.

Ah, I didn't know you had that much use in the 6s batteries. However you will still be flying the 600 and you will still need batteries... And 3000mah 12s will give you about the same flight time you are getting now. Remember, the more voltage, the less amperage.
