Howdy!
I made a FPV ground station out of a PC Monitor, a video converter and a 5.8 Ghz receiver.
The screen was surplus, but used an external power adapter instead of an internal power supply.
The video converter was $25 or so plus shipping and is NTSC/PAL compatible. Composite in, VGA out.
A 5.8 Ghz video receiver with mushroom antenna. (Sold separately, not diversity or DVR. Maybe next time.)
The converter is 5v powered so a 12v to 5v BEC was needed but the screen and receiver use 12v from a 3S LiPo.
A small travel bag tilts and shades the screen and the extendable handle raises the receiver and antenna.
