250 park flyer receiver?

Ok, I have a question for you park flyers. Can I get by with a 6 channel short range parkflyer receiver for my rex 250? How far will it go? Will be doing some indoor flying this winter, and some outdoor park flying in the summer. Just want to make sure the range will work for outdoor.

I would not go over about 250' if you are going to use this in a helicopter. And nothing bigger than what you stated. But yes, it will work just fine. better than using an OrangeRx, that's for sure. I would feel more safe.

I have flown planes until they are a dot in the sky with a park RX.
So using it on a 250, thats only going to be 100ft Max away from you (unless you've lost control ) will be fine.
