450 One way main gear bearing.Help!

Ok been flying for awhile and went through about 100 packs and my one way bearing locked up.Just wondering what you guys recomend for a lube on that bearing.I have always just shot a little zoom oil on it.Is there something better.

I've had OW bearings slip before, put none that locked up. I use a very light oil and wipe off the excess, so there is just enough to lube it but not enough to allow it to slip. For such a cheap part, i would just replace it for peace of mind.

like lee said.. that important of a part.. I would just change it man. I have heard putting thin oil works sometimes, but if the load increases, you have a tendency to slip. They use a special oil there.. inside the bearing.. as far as I know. not worth putting yourself of your bird in danger when flying..

Tony has stated that there is one-way grease for those bearings. if you can pack them with that you should be golden.
