450 Need some help with my "Blade 450"

I am a newbe to helicopters. I have a RealFlligt sim which I use quite a bit.
With the sim I can get most heli's up and down without too much trouble.
The radio I am using is the "DX6i".
My problem is; on the first flight, a skid got caught in the grass and tipped it over.
This dented the boom which I have replaced.
Right now, I have all the servo and all other wires out of the receiver.
There is a (1) yellow wire w/plug, and I do not know which terminal to plug it
into on the receiver.
Is there anyone out there that has a working knowledge of the Blade 450
that can help with the setting up of this heli..?
I think I can fly, if I can just get it put back togeather.............
Thanks for any help.

First off, make sure to check the main shaft and feathering shaft for damage. Most boom strikes like that will take out the boom, blades, main and feathering shaft all at once.

The single wire will go into channel 5. Make sure the wire is on the signal side when you plug it in. Go into your gyro settings, and set low to 30 (for setup only) and high to 65. More than likely, you will have to change this. Anything over 50 is heading hold mode, and that is what you want to fly in. Also remember what setting is what. Meaning when the flap/gyro switch is up (position 0) should be HH mode (that's the way I do it anyway) and position 1 is 30 or rate mode. Let me know if this helps.

Thanks Tony,
I have replaced the boom. What is the feathering shaft?
Have gone into the gyro menu and set it as you have suggested.
Placed the single wire into terminal 5.
Tks Tony

The feathering shaft is the shaft that connects the two blade grips and goes through the head block. Let me know if you get it all sorted out or if you need more help.
