Chargers My New Charging Case Setup

I have been working on this for a couple weeks on and off now. I finally figured out how I wanted things situated inside. I have my two main charging boards installed permanent and will have a storage compartment in the lid of the case later for other things such as pigtail leads, 1s paraboards, etc.

My wife got this case for me from someone who she had cleaned a house for. I used to store my DX6e in it but this is a much better use. I used a piece of 1/4" polycarbonate sheet for the base and secured it to the bottom with 10-32 screws through the back and threaded into the poly. The PSU is secured with 6-32 screws from the inside of the PSU and threaded into the poly. The rest is held on with 3M double sided mounting tape. I used 10ga silicone wire from the PSU to the banana terminals. The wire is attached with ring terminals which are then secured with nuts that are soldered in place.

Here are some photos, enjoy!

One thing I wish I had done, and it's not too late, is to strip the PSU case of all labeling and paint it a flat black. I have seen some on the internet use some massive size heat shrink over theirs but I need access to the inside of mine for mounting.

Oh yes, that charger can surely discharge it! I also have a 4 blade fan cooled discharger that's more fun to operate.
