450 My HK450GT with new head installed

I finally got my 4 blade head and Tarot ZYX Gyro in and got them installed and programmed on my HK450GT! Man this bird looks wicked with the 4 bladed head on it!







And here's a couple of shots of two birds that I made a trade for from a friend of mine in Indiana! Love this DH9053! Flies like a dream! Haven't gotten to fly the big boy yet, need to get some lower blades for it!

Interesting, the blade links look like they are run at a 90 degree lag. Must be needed phasing for the additional rotors. Gotta look into the physics more on multi-blade rotors. Well, I should look into it more on just that two blade heads, too.

actually, they run 90 degrees advanced of the blade. But yes this is required on all multi-blade heads whether they be 3 4 or 5 blade heads.

Yeah definitely Lee! Me too! Can't wait to see how she flies with the ZYX Gyro and 4 blade head compared to flying with the FlyBarred 2 blade head!

Ok this morning, I rechecked and rechecked everything and finalized all the initial settings for the ZYX Gyro! Charging some batteries right now getting ready to spool her for the first time! Wish me luck that I have everything in the Pitch Curve setup correctly that she doesn't shoot up like a rocket on me! If she doesn't, then I'll probably try to perform a few hover checks and see how this gyro performs in flight!

LOL yeah that's true Slobberdog! I plan on shooting some video today of flying my new DH9053! So yeah I might as well try and shoot some video of spooling the 450 with the new head installed too!

Yeah no doubt! Today will be my first FPV video so you guys can't complain if it's not great video footage! I custom built my hat cam mount and have it all adjusted so it should be looking at everything I'm looking at so we'll see how it turns out!

got the fourth battery on the charger right now, have to have one for the TX and one for RX for the camera system! Then a couple of spares for the heli!
