Setups MinimOSD With No Flight Controller???

I've seen dozens of videos and articles on how to setup a MinimOSD on an aircraft that has a Naze32, CC3D, APM, etc. However, I have an FPV plane that I'd like to add my unused MinimOSD but I have no flight controller on board. Is there a way to accomplish this without adding a flight controller?
