600 man down, beast x !

I'm trying to get my boy to join the forum, maybe with some insight we can get him to do that. here is the situation. hey bought a beast x ( used ) he is running a receiver and a sat with a dx8, ( this is who I got the dx7 from ) the tx will bind with the beast x but that's it. I'm not a beast x guy. after the bind the heli don't respond to any radio inputs. what is he missing how can we get him in the air. and the bind is successful. 550 cause that is the heli he has.

Not sure really. Make sure all the connections are right. Also r he issue i had with the clone was that i did not have orientation setup right .

I had vertical programmed but mounted horizontal. Once i programmed horizontal things were fine.

Have you gone through the set up procedure?

Check when you do the set up that for the main menu you would go through on a normal gyro setup that when you press the button to get into it you press and hold the button till the light goes solid. If it is flashing you are in the wrong menu.
