Trucks Losi 5ive T off road truck.

Hi folks, I'm interested to buy the losi 5t truck. With the AVC system which control the traction as I know. But I'm not sure as I 'm a newbie the transmitter how many channels should have so that I won't need to upgrade it in the future. I understand that we need a channel for the steering and a channel for the throttle/brake, am I right? What happens with the AVC, does it need a channel on the transmitter? And general if there are going to be some upgrades on the truck like leds for instance or something else, do I need a third or more channel? Please advice me!

I"m not familiar with that truck, but I would get at least a 3 if not a 4 channel Tx. I run a 3ch (Spektrum DX3R) but they came out with the DX4R shortly after that. I would have gotten that one if it was out.
