View attachment 15203....i get down there at my shop an just get involved in makein things like this esc support..made that out of a peice of 1 x 2 x 6. T6061 aluminum...machined it out on the milling machine

20151205_032212_Burst01.jpg20151203_233104.jpg20151023_002050.jpg...you cant hardly see the esc mount now it fits snug behind the firewall ...has 2. 4- 40 x 1/4 buttom head screws from the bottom up..with the bec switch on the bottom also...on top the 2 screws that hold the battery asess cover on hold the top of esc with threaded inserts in top of firewall:chickendance:

Thanks my friend...ive been retired 5 years ...a grumpy...cranky...ol union pipe fitter...pipe welder pipeshop foreman .38 years in same union ...same shop...an had a small machine ....welding ....fabrication ..shop on the side...got some good equipment in there ..but it took my life time to get it ..still do some work there...but very selective on what i take in an do...odd aint it 15k mill an 12k lathe makin parts for our toys

I will be using the lathe and TIG welder at work to fab some parts for my toys soon :)

Besides a some of the other basic shop equipment a lathe was the first major piece of equipment i bought..looked for a used one for about a year..about everyone of them had varing degrees of ware close to the chuck...finialy just broke down an bought a new one..a enco..100" c to c...an can swing 16"..25 years old ...still works good..it taught me a valuable lesson i still use everyday...after about 1000. bucks in burned up tooling i learned you cant rush most machine work

That is a great looking plane, and love the home made parts. Might have to have you make me some things in the future if I can ever get to the house to design them lol.

Tellya what fellows I aint bean this irriated in many years. .got the new project a couple days ago haven't even op opened the shipping box
