I’ve had this heli fore many years use to hover about head high and move around with the stock ESKY TX but have since swapped everything over to spectrum AR 6110 receiver and the DX7 and had headlock issues , programming has been hit and miss now I want to start from scratch with the new DX9 is there a basic tame program setup I can try, I’ve seen videos on YouTube of this bird really doing a good job with skilled pilots and even 3D I’m just wanting to fly slow and stable .
I like the looks of this bird.

Does that helicopter have one of those all in one esc boards? If so, I have never had luck with them on spektrum.

Since it has an external gyro, it should be able to be setup. As for being easy, not sure about that one lol. What I would do is plug the right front servo into the aileron port, the left front servo into teh Aux1 port and the rear servo into the elevator port (rear swash servo that is). Then, plug the tail servo into the gyro, and plug the 3 wires from the gyro into the rudder port, and the single wire into channel 5, or gear.

From there, I would follow my flybar setup video, even though it is not going ot be quite accurate, it will get you close. Once you have 0º at mid stick and about 11º at full stick both positive and negative, then setup your DR and Expo at about 70 and +35 respectively. From there, just set up a throttle and pitch curve that you are comfortable with and give it a test hover.
