450 Keeping You Posted

Hi everyone, got everything except a new canopy and my rebuilt 450 is ready to go. Just waiting for some decent weather. On my other project I mention about three weeks ago, have draw up plans for my scratch built Sikorsky Sky Crane CH 64F helicopter. Have located parts needed for this build with the exception of a gearbox that connects the main boom assembly at a 45 degree angle to a smaller boom that holds the tail rotor. I could start building and hopefully one will show up on ebay. If anyone has an idea on where one might be found would be most appreciative. Figure project should be complete by next spring.

Found these tail shaft gear boxes, probably not the size or angle you want but worth a look.

If it's a 450 size heli tail boom should work. If possible could you take a photo and post it? Either belt driven or torque rod would work since I can build both. Thanking you in advance for your help. Best regards, Jim
