Kbar on trex450

Can anybody help me with setup on a Kabar gyro on a trx450?

Well actually I just bought it and it hasn't come in yet , but I will be using spectrum,and I'm quite new when it comes to kbar.I'm just kind of wondering were I can get setup help.

Also turn off your internet on the computer. Whether its WiFi or hard wire, disconnect them before plugging the kbar to the PC. I heard if you don't micado will lock your gyro and disable it since its a clone.

If you use version 5.3.4 it won't do that, probably refrain from updates too...
Probably be better to stay off line either way though just to be safe...

Hello,is there anywhere I can get a blade 300cfx canopy that looks like align trex?I've looked everywhere and can't find the style I like.Thanks.

Have you tired Canomod? I am sure you checked out Fumusi or whatever that one is called....Probably you'll have to experiment and put an Align canopy on it....have you thought about the 250 series? Those might be close to what you need.
how's that Kbar working out?

Kbars is fine,thanks.I thought of trying 250,but they are quite drastically different in size from what I've seen?

Well if you want an Align 450 canopy sounds like you'll have to just mod one to your heli
You know I think Hobby Kings canopies come without being pre drilled. That way you could
maybe custom fit it to your bird. They have some very decent looking canopys...
Or you could try designing your own canopy from Heliwow just put in the work order not to
pre drill holes...I had one done there and it turned out very nice...except they screwed up
mounting holes...now it's junk to me...

What about a gauix3 or a 360 canopy?Are they similar in size?

I couldn't tell ya I think murankar has a Gaui I have been pretty much Align, and a dabble into Walkera's
More than likely you'll have to just do one of two things...find someone with a different but similar size canopy and put it on yours, or buy one that you think might work, and see how it fits...Thats why I suggested the Hobby king canopy they are cheap order a couple like a 450 Pro or an SV or something like that...try it out. If it don't work then make sure you keep the box and just post it up for sale....as long as you haven't drilled any holes in it.

Hi mate as Rodney said DONT up grade and if you used the new PC software it will dial home and brick the Kbar used the one Rodney liked you to , if your going from 3GX to the kbar go into swash setting in your transmitter and set swash to H1 or single servo 90 degs ( the 3GX uses 120 degs in the transmitter ) its easy to set up there is easy and advanced set up in advanced you change the gains more also there are 2 boxes called optimized one for tail and one for main rotor turn them on go fly the heli after you land turn them off this will let gyro adjust its set up for that heli, if you have any problems look at you tube MR MEL Vbar set up its the same gyro but me or Rodney can help if you get stuck

The X3 is not a direct fit Align replacement. The canopies are pre drilled for a 360 sized air frame. If your looking for an align canopy then get a knock off from Hobby king and drill your own holes. You could also check heliwow.com and see what you can design.

Gaui X3 canopies are at least $30 a pop. Bit much for what you want.

You should try Heliwow then, you can design your own, or I think they have a few that are already painted....just specify no holes drilled. That way you can fit it yourself....and don't worry about quality or canopy design not looking good from Hobby King, I got one for my Align clone 450 heli, and it's pretty sharp! Nice fit, well made!
Also I suggest Hobby King because you can order a pro canopy, or the V2 canopy cheap, and then you'll see which fits the best. Then you can order a higher end canopy and know it'll fit.

One thing I just thought of. The Gaui has the battery in the frames and the ESC on the top of the nose. On the align the battery is where the ESC is on the Gaui. That alone will not let the canopy fit. The clearance is just enough for the ESC.
