I'm introducing myself here on RC-Help.

I am back in the world of RC. As a kid I build an RC airplane but then a lot of other priorities kept my attention. Now I am back in - this time into the world of helicopters and multi-rotors. After learning to fly using my Phoenix simulator, I plan to get a helicopter. In addition to the simulator, I also have a Blade Nano QX quadcopter. My new transmitter is a Spektrum DX6i.

Welcome to the forum Keith, I'm sure you'll enjoy coming back to the hobby, LiPos have mad life a whole lot easier.
 
Hey Keith, welcome to RCH! You are doing great with practicing on the simulator. Keep at it, and flying for real will be simple. The DX6i is a great first Tx and flying a quad will get you used to how a helicopter flies. So you have a great start on the hobby. As always, if you have any questions, all you have to do is post up.

The sim is a great tool as long as you use it as a tool and not a time filler. Its great to have fun on the sim, just make sure you practice as well.
