General Installing An Engine Mount

I'm installing a motor in a T-28 Trojan. Based on the way the engine mount sits, it looks like the prop shaft is meant to tilt a bit in one direction. Yes? If so, does it tilt a bit down? (and def not up, right, or left?)

Depends on the prop rotation, but usually it will tilt down and to the right I believe.

Tony is correct. Looking forward from the rear of the plane motor tilts slightly to the right and a little down. How much should be in the manual or already built into the firewall. If you can’t find out exactly how much. You can start with 1.5 degrees right and 1.5 down. See how it flies. If it pulls to the left on full throttle you have to but a little more right offset. And if it wants to climb. Go a little more down. It is just a trial and error scenerio
