Hey Brandon, sorry for the late post.

The throttle linkage is on backwards. The carb arm should be on the muffler side. You will need to put the brake lever the other way and swap over the linkages.

As for the wheels spinning with no throttle, it sounds like the throttle is too high or the low end needle is too lean, or both.

The high speed needle say if it was closed all the way and you do one revolution is that considered a full turn our half of the turn

Hey there Brandon. When I had my Savage 4.6, a full turn is a full turn. My savage was 1 1/4 turn. Try one full turn and see what happens.

Reset all needles to factory settings described in the manual and start the tuning over again. You have to constantly tune a nitro engine, there is no one setting that is perfect for all occasions.

I'm going a little further than what Tony said... The number of turns listed in the manual is the STARTING place from where you start tuning the engine. Each one is slightly different and will have different settings but you need a place to start from. So it's sort of an art when it comes to dialing in a air/fuel mixture. In addition, each day has slightly different pressure, temperature and moisture... so the setting you had yesterday that may have been perfect, will be slightly different today or tomorrow.

Cannot see if the needle is flush or not. When looking at the low speed needle, you need to look at it from the side. In the picture, you are looking at it straight on and with a 2d photograph, we have no sense of depth (as we would with out eyes). But, going off of the light, it looks like it is a little too rich. Remember, this needle is only used when the truck is idling.
