ESC How To Match A Motor, Esc And Battery, Help.

Help, what battery or esc do I need.

I consider to buy zd racing 9105 kit. I don't know what battery I need to buy for the motor and what esc I need.

MOTOR : Surpass hobby 3660 brushless motor (3800kv).
ESC : 60a brushless esc (waterproof)??
BATTERY : ??

The motor is 1200w. I want to use a 2s or 3s.
So 1200w divided by 7.4v or 11.1v = 162 or 108 amps. And the ESC is 60amps. Does it get hot because the motor asks to much? What battery do I need if I want the longest run out of it?

The motor you linked to can operate up to 80a ( or so they claim ) ... so you need an ESC that will at least match if not provide more amperage so you don't burn out the ESC
