450 how do i get rid of the tail wag

so i got my 405 dfc 3gx pro out front fired it up and it has a nice tail wag in it, how do i correct that, since i am new to this i will need it step by step. thanks in advance.

You need to dial down your tail gyro gain on your transmitter. Enter the menu on your transmitter for the model you have setup for this heli. Find the gyro gain setting (you would have had to set it up as part of setting up the 3gx so hopefully you remember how to get there). Dial the heading hold gain value back 5 points, save it, and then try flying again. Hopefully it is wagging less or has stopped completely. If still wagging a bit, then go in an dial it back another 5 points. Rinse, repeat as necessary.

yeah im lost i set my 3gx up according to tonys videos. Im just lost

Nah, not lost. No one knows what they don't know until they know it.

In your Tx, there should be a "Gyro" menu. You need to lower the rate that is in there. Make sure you have a green status light on the gyro after you make your adjustments. A red status light on the 3GX is Rate Mode, Green is HH mode. Hope this helps.
