Hello, I've heard that the HobbyWing 50a ESC is a good one to use. You need to purchase the programming box for this ESC also. You can also use this: Google "HobbyWing Xcar adapter" It's cheaper but only works with the computer. Has anyone used this adapter instead of the programming box?

My Warp is basically a brand new heli now, apart from the motor.
Brand new Ikon, new KST servos, and new ESC.

Why did you go with the hobbywing and not a castle or something? I mean, you have high end equipment up to the esc. Just wondering if there was a reason besides money.

I don't consider the new V3 ESCs from Hobbywing to be inferior to Castle etc.
I have friends running them in there Goblin 380s, Warps, KDS Chase360s.
They have data logging, RPM sensor, and the spool up is very smooth.
It seems to be the go to ESC for the 360 class.

Hey there Lee. You give out good information in my opion and i took your advice on the Yep ESC back awhile ago. I was thinking to put the Hobbywing V3 on my Gaui X3. I'm going to wait til i hear your review on this ESC on your Warp Til then i will still use my Yep. They work just fine til it dies then i'll try the V3.
