I went ahead and moved this here in teh 500 section. The Gyro I would NOT get. There is a lot of drift in that gyro. If you are going to run a digital tail servo, get the Assan GA-250 gyro. I have used them, and love them. And yes, they are from HK. I have not had luck with that ESC either, but you may. I'm not familiar with the tail servo that you have on that list. Is there anyway you can link us to it, or post up the specs?

lol thanks my bad.
no tail servo on the list just the cyclics and the hxt900s for my 450. im going for a ds520 on tail as you suggested. on the gyro , looked for that one but only saw the Assan ga-410 and ga-510. the ga-250 was a hk mini mem. can you recommend a good esc?

Yeah, that is the gyro that I have used and loved. As for a good ESC, I really like THIS ONE from hobbypartz. I don't trust any of the ESC's from HK since I threw sparks 5 feet with the 200a that I had on my 600. If you get that ESC, be sure to get the PROGRAM BOX with it. THIS MOTOR is also a really good idea if you want to keep getting stuff from hobbypartz. For your 450, I would suggest THIS SERVO if you are using it on the tail. I have used the EXI D213F on my 450 (it's still on there as a matter of fact) and it works great. And it's cheaper than the one from HK.

If you have the coin, you can go with the 80a. I was just trying to save you a little cash. That motor pulls a max of 65 amps. The 60a esc can handle a burst of up to 90a for 10 seconds. So, I don't think you will ever have a problem with the 60a ESC. I would not think twice abotu putting it on my heli. Even though it was out of stock when I got my ESC lol. And before you ask, THIS is the ESC that I'm using on my 500 now. I know it's out of stock, but you can get the same one without a BEC for about $4 less. I still suggest the Hobbywing over the Volcano series.

I have the Plush 60A ESC on mine and its been working great. I have the Align 500 motor in it.

i just built the HK 500 GT its a great heli tons of power with the Exceed helium 500 motor, get the exceed metal washout and control arms its a must to make it rock solid because the plastic arms that come on it are cheap and the flex way to much.Good Luck you,ll love it.

I dont' know what a VWINRC is. But if it's anything like the HK500GT, then I would NOT suggest it. Do yourself a favor and get an Align bird, you will be much more happy with it.

vwinrc 500 is a clone also of trex 500,49FE18392F1B4AC24E253A57B90A66FC.640_640.jpg, Chines cheap heli. im looking for a align heli bare bone only coz in planing to put a savox cyclic, scorpion motor, CC esc and futaba gyro. high end stuff. thank for the advice sir tony, im going for the align trex heli.

Going for the bare Align 500 heli is the best choice you can make. Trust me, I have been down this road way too many times, and by the time you finish replacing all of the parts that keep failing, you could have purchase 2 of the Align heli's with the money you spent in crashes. Hope to see some pics and video of the heli soon!

thanks you sir tony, ill start saving my coins for a t-rex 500 pro. im looking for a store in taiwan for a trex 500 or 550 bare bone kit, in planing to put a savox cc servos and ruder to heheeh

looking for a bare bone kit is much rear because align is selling all of there heli at combos

More than likely, you will have to go through ebay to find this bare kit. They strip it of electronics, then sell just the kit.
