that is a very close copy of my JR vibe.. lol.. if its anything like my vibe.. you will have a heli on RAILS!

385 is a good deal! you will need to get a governor i think in there... 3152 servos and gy401 with 9254 (or 7) is what i have in my kinetic 50. servos are good.. not that strong for extreme 3d.. but i am sure, you wont need that yet.. the setup is great!

50sx-h is my faviorite.. i have two of them.. sold three.. lol ..

look for parts prices though tony... jus remember this one thing, like my JR... the parts are extremely expensive.. But the quality has no match! its beautiful and tough! solid build!
I would read some reviews on this frame before putting money into it..

price is good. to be honest a bit low for a 50 size with everything working.. and all the things he is giving you with it.. I say go for it! it looks great!

hey if nothing else, you can have a full build series of a .50 bird! I like it! i would have gone for it if i was you..

my kinetic total (flybarred) cost me about 450 i had 3152 servos all over, align 2in1 as regulator and igniter.. and 401.9257 combo.. i paid the 450 clone for my airframe, and 200 for all the electroncis and a electric fuel pump..

My vibe was a ridiculously low deal / bargain i snagged.. i paid 300 for it cause guy was desperate to sell.. he didnt realize, just the cyclic and throttle servos i it (JR8711's) cost double than that.. hahahahha!! not counting the gy520 and 9254 combo i got and engine and muffler.. and that.. so dont go by that price.. i would have sold it for atleast 5-600 bucks..

ohhh and the muffler on your looks like a curtis.. he says its a MP ... I love that muffler too! tons of power, and very quite..

Yeah, the more I read, the more I'm decided to just pass on this deal. Everything I find on this heli is from 2009. It's only 3 years, but my t-maxx is only 3 years old, and they don't even make the friggin body mounts anymore for it. Not worth the chance. Thanks anyway.

now if you read bad reviews.. thats a red light for sure.. but if there are parts available and cheap enough.. i would suggest to start with it... :

I think what I will do is start out with doing the conversion on my mcpx, and getting a 450/500. After some time to recoup from the money loss, I will look into another 600 size heli. This was just one of those things where I saw it, and it was a glimmer of hope for a second lmao. I'm sure the wife would never go for this.

heeheheeee... best thing tony.. is to go on some classifieds and look for airframes.. they go for CHEAP!! and then find your electronics from classifieds too... you can build a 600 for very very cheap like that!

thats what i did on my kinetic.. so whenever you do have money to try that... do it!

Taht 600 i was building to use for a camera rig last summer is probably still sitting in his house. I'm gonna try and buy it from him at a good price. So i might have an extra 600 to sell soon.

Now that is a great kit you have right there. What is it with you people? First everyone goes to the DX8 from the DX6i, and now everyone is going to Align from the clones lmao. If you people make me buy an Align heli like you made me buy the DX8, I'm sending my wife to you for revenge. She is not taking it out on me this time

If I could have afforded the 700 I would have bought that one but over and over again I've seen so many posts from people who build clones and have trouble with them... I don't mean Chaos.
You guys do say that if you want one that is quality and a good experience to build, go with Align over many others.

I tried to get the mCPx into hovers today, and 40 tries later, not much result. What pisses me off is that I can fly all the cp heli's up to 700 3d in Phoenix now, with a lot of wind also, and fly sport flying no problem now. Working on forward/reverse loops, rolls, stall turns with some success also in the sim. But in the real world, I can't even get the mCPx to hover. I believe I now have performance anxiety.... where can I buy Viagra or Enzyte for flying anyone?

Get familiar with the throttle hold switch and just go for it. Treat your mcpx like the sim.

Maybe the hover is the problem. I know when I just try to hover it the little sucker wants to bounce all over the place inside a 10ft box. However when I start into some forward flight it stabilizes out a lot. It's like it doesn't like to sit still. Then again, I am just starting to learn also, so some of that may be my skill level as well. But the MCPx just seems alot easier to fly in ff than trying to hover for me.

You are correct, these things do not like to hover. unless you are about 3'+ off the ground, you will get into ground effect and it will push these things all over the place. They want to fly, and FF is what they love.
