What's so shocking to me is that I most of my army career worked on helicopters. This included 3 years on CH47's as a flight engineer and never experience anything as seen here. And this is a CH47 on this video. With social media today this really brings home the importance of good work habits and attention to detail. Our hobby is no different than these big guys. That's why we must all practice safety first in the building and maintaining our birds. Every time before I spool up, I do a preflight on my helicopter. I have the peace of mind it's checked and rechecked on everything. All batteries are at 100% for both my radio and those in the aircraft. Even started last year keeping a log on each bird. This is one old habit I'm glad was never given up. I'll be 73 in two months and so glad to be a member of this fine group of RC pilots. Always learning something new every day that makes me better in this hobby. Admiral is spot on in saying"A days flying is worth 10 of any day".
