I just finished up converting my HK450GT over to be a FBL bird today! I went outside and performed a spool up on her and talk about smooth! Wow what a difference that Tarot ZYX Gyro made! I can't say enough how impressed I am with this gyro! I just converted the old FB head removing the Flybar cage and put the washout arms directly onto the headblock and used a swash driver to properly phase the blades! I didn't get a chance to bring her up into a hover yet, because it's dark outside already and didn't wanna take any chances, so I'll wait until tomorrow to do a test flight! But scooted it around on the ground a little bit and man she responds really well to the sticks! I can't say enough what a difference this has made! She's a totally new helicopter now! WOW!

Yeah definitely! Planning on performing the first test flight tomorrow as it was already dark by the time I finished the conversion Lee! I did get to spool her up and scoot her around an man she responds like a completely different bird now!

Interesting! That's the first time I've seen a non-direct-to-swash flybarless configuration. Great job!

Yeah I have it limited to only +9 degrees of collective pitch cause I don't fly 3D but have the full range of +8 degrees of elevator and ailerons and -5 degrees of pitch at low stick limited. Don't need more than this since I don't fly 3D.
