Other First Time Reciever Setup

Good Day to my fellow aviation rc enthusiasts. I'm come seeking help and advice from the pros if you will. My wife decided to fulfill a childhood dream of mine in buying me my first rc aircraft for a gift. Although I'm well aware of the likelihood of it being destroyed fairly soon, I'm curious as to how the setup goes for the wires that come from the ailerons, elevators, rudder and what I'm assuming is the motor. The receiever that came with my plane is a microzone mc7rb and the transmitter is a microzone mc6c. Is there a particular order that it's supposed to be plugged in as my receiever only has numbers listed 1 through 7 and a m.bus at the top. I initially got everything plugged in and certain functions worked while others didnt. I once had prop response as the prop started to turn but had no aileron or elevator response and the more I try and configure the wiring, the more frustrated I become . Could anyone help a brother out? Thank you in advance.

First thing is first, please remove the prop. It may be small, but we have pictures here on the site of what can happen when those things spool up without warning. Lets just say, I have seen less muscle on a full packer brisket. Please remove the prop.

I have searched all over the net and I can not for the life of me find the manual for that Rx. If you know of one online, link me to it. In the manual it should state what channel is for what. And if I can see the manual, I will be able to help out much further.

Thank you for your prompt response. I too have had quite the experience trying to find a proper manual but the only one that I could locate is attached. Also attached are pics of the reciever and airplane. Thank you again for your help!15756967992535112021002104741999.jpg 1575696883654167751717881524449.jpg 15756967992535112021002104741999.jpg 1575696883654167751717881524449.jpg 15756967992535112021002104741999.jpg 1575696883654167751717881524449.jpg

Okay, we are going to have to do this in the "process of elimination" style then.

First thing, take that prop off lol.

Now, we are going to use a servo to verify what channel is what. I'm guessing since you are Tn, you have a mode 2 Tx. That means left stick is throttle (up and down) and rudder (left and right) and the right stick is elevator (up and down) and aileron (left and right). It may have more functions than that, but this is where we are going to start.

Take one of the servos and plug it into channel 1. Move all of the sticks and find out what it controls. Then, plug it into channel 2 and do the same thing. Write down what each channel is. I'm going to guess 1 is elevator, 2 is aileron, 3 is motor and 4 is rudder.

Once you have figured out those 4 channels, now we need to determine if it is a single aileron setup (Y harness) or a dual channel. If it is a dual channel, it's likely channel 5 or 6 is going to be the left wing aileron. You can test those ports if you have dual aileron leads in the plane to see if they work.

We will start there.
