If you are looking for the perfect way to get into FPV racing, there is no better quad than this little guy right here! The QX95 Micro FPV Racing Quad has everything you need to get started. From a 95mm frame that will allow you to get into the tightest of spaces, to the F3 flight controller, to the 25mw FPV camera/Transmitter combo, this quad has everything.

One down side to this quad is the motors. because they are brushed, you are going to need replacements after about 30 flights. The kit comes with two extra motors which is a bonus to keep you in the sky while your new motors are on the way. The F3 flight controller has built in ESC's for the brushed motors which reduces the weight.

Also on the back of the quad is a nice RGB LED strip that will tell you just about everything that the quad is doing. From showing armed-disarmed, to showing that the person flying is banking left, right, pulling back to slow down, or raising and lowering the throttle, the LED's show you exactly what is going on.

In this video, I show you what comes in the box, how to setup your Tx, how to verify everything is correct in the software (cleanflight) and how it flies. This is where I hit a snag as the yaw was all over the place. This is nothing that a little tuning will take care of, so no worry there.

Oh, and did I mention that this is a BNF quad to Spektrum? If your Tx will handle DSM2, then this quad is perfect!

There is also a Frsky and Flysky version of this available although I think I will stick to one with protected props so I can fly (crash) it inside.

You are right, you can get this quad in 4 different ways. The two you mentioned, the DSM2 and without Rx. And they have a cage for about $3.00 that you can put around the props

Looks like a fun little quad, might be something I can try before sinking money into a larger one....one of these days!
I like the fairly easy bind to the Spektrum too!

As stated as a 'Pro', this is the perfect quad if you are just looking to stick your toes in the water (so to speak) in the FPV world. You can fly it LOS, but it's a complete pain in the ass. Get some cheap goggles, like the Quantum Pro V2's that I use, and give it a go. You will also need a VRX, but you can get those all day long for about $10 used.

My QX95 finally turned up, a couple of minor issues getting it sorted but nothing major mainly to do with Arming I prefer arming with the Rudder so that it is same as my other multicopters but I had to settle with putting it on AUX1.
I had a work around for the LED/USB problem, I mounter the LEDs high with access underneath to the USB, to do this I used two cable ties through the holes in the LED board and through the frame, works OK.
Can't wait for the weekend to get it down the field, the backyard is OK for LOS, but it moves a bit quick for FPV at this stage, maybe later.

The more you guys talk about the QX95, the more I like it. The only thing I'll have to get the prop guards for it. I was looking at this, his little brother I think? Eachine QX90 90mm Micro FPV Racing Drone Quadcopter w/ camera | Spectrum - BNF - Grayson Hobby What do think about this one?

Cheaper at the link below. And there was a reason I chose the 95 instead of the 90 or the 80, and that is because on the 95, the props are not in the camera view like they are on teh smaller one. If you don't mind the props in view, then the 80 or 90 are also good choices.

Thanks again Tony for that information . I didn't know that about the 80 and 90. That's why I like to ask question. Especially this is my first FPV quad and I would like it to last more then a day Lol

Hi D.O.G., the QX90 appears to have all the same equipment on a square frame rather than a rectangular one, it's about US$10.00 cheaper through Bangood and they have Prop guards as well as an Antenna guard for both versions if you want.
I'm sure you would have great fun which ever way you went.
Quicker delivery from Grayson would be probably be well worth the $10
