Spektrum DX9 to DXe buddy box

Hi guys does any one know if and how to buddy box a DX9 to a DXe( wireless buddy box set up ) as I am teaching my wife to fly a CP heli , I got her the Blade 230s RTF and it comes with the DXe
I set up my DX9 from the Blade manual but have not bound it to the heli as I wanted to leave it bound to the DXe and was hoping to fly it from DX9 through the DXe

The DX9 will have to be the Master TX and the DX9 will have to be the slave.

yeah come one Derek don't leave us hanging man!! I'd reckon the DX9 would be the master....but stranger things have happened in the R/C world......
